Charles Inouye grew up in central Utah and is now living in Lexington, Massachusetts. He’s married to Rei Okamoto and his children are Mie, Leif, and Kan. He is a professor of Japanese literature and visual culture at Tufts University. Among his books are The End of the World, Plan B (Greg Kofford Press), and zion earth zen sky (Maxwell Institute). A collection of stories about central Utah will soon be published by Common Consent Press as Hymns of Silence. He is a deacon’s quorum adviser and works in the baptistery in the Boston Massachusetts Temple.
