Kyle Bond
KYLE BOND {[email protected]} earned his BA and MA in English and teaches secondary English in Orem, Utah. He has plans for a PhD in rhetoric and composition. Along with writing poetry, in his spare time, he researches Victorian and nineteenth-century literature, philosophy, and social movements, and writes about their modern and rhetorical influences. He lives with his wife, who is finishing her studies in speech language pathology at the University of Utah.

I was an infant
and shouting clouds trundled and thundered,
atmospheric pressure strangled my stubborn ears refusing airflow.
The blue chair in the living room rocked,
my cries received the blessing of your priesthood.
