In this episode of the Dialogue Podcast, Dialogue Editor Taylor Petrey speaks with historian and former Museum of Church History and Art curator Steven Epperson about his moving new article, “Armenians and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: A Hauntological Exhibit,” from the Spring 2025 issue of Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought. Epperson recounts his work in the early 1990s preparing an exhibit about Armenian converts to the LDS Church — an exhibit that was abruptly canceled due to political sensitivities involving the Turkish government.
