David Banack is a semi-retired attorney living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. A teenage convert to the LDS Church, he attended BYU, served a mission in France, graduated with degrees in Political Science and Economics, then eventually went to law school. He has been active in LDS blogging and online discussion since 2003. His favorite LDS calling is Gospel Doctrine Teacher, although Building Cleaning Guy comes in a close second. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, he has lived up and down the West Coast as well as in France, Sweden, Fiji, and American Samoa. His hobbies are international tourism and reading history and philosophy. He is married with three kids and six grandchildren. He hopes to write a book before the end of the world.
