Matthew Wickman is Professor of English and Founding Director (emeritus) of the BYU Humanities Center. He has written or edited three academic books and dozens of scholarly articles. Last year, his book Life to the Whole Being: The Spiritual Memoir of a Literature Professor was published in the Maxwell Institute’s Living Faith series. Once an avid surfer – and now consigned to watching surf videos from his landlocked home – he lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Kerry. They are the parents of two daughters.
