Call for Articles for Our 60th Anniversary Issue

July 28, 2025

Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought turns 60 next year! Which means we’ve officially been overthinking everything longer than most of you have been alive.

But instead of a roast (or a sacrament talk), we’re inviting you to help us celebrate six decades of fearless thought, creativity, and conversation. For our 60th anniversary issue, we’re looking for:

Academic articles

Poetry & fiction

 Personal narratives

 Book reviews

We’re open to work that reflects on Dialogue’s history or that pushes Mormon thought into the next 60 years. Questions to address might include:

— What conversations still need to happen?

— What article in Dialogue’s history particularly influenced you personally or academically?

— What stories have yet to be told?

— What’s worth disrupting, revisiting, or imagining anew?

We want work that looks back — and work that looks forward. Reflections on Dialogue’s history? Yes. Bold new ideas? Absolutely. The questions no one’s dared ask yet? Especially those.

Deadline: January 5, 2026

Let’s make this milestone unforgettable.
