Ronald E. Romig
Ron Romig (M.A., University of Akron) is Archivist for the Community of Christ (formerly the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), headquartered in Independence, Missouri. He administers the church’s official records and papers in addition to its significant historical documentary collection. He has served as the president of the John Whitmer Historical Association and has been a council member of the Mormon History Association. He is currently vice-president of the Missouri Mormon Frontier Foundation. He also received archival training through Drake University.

RLDS Church Archivist Ronald E Romig expected The Founding Prophet: An Administrative Biography of Joseph Smith, Jr. to be exclusively about Joseph Smith. Instead Maurice L. Draper who was both a member of the RLDS Quroum of the Twelve Apostles and the First Presidency, focused more on different adminstrative situations in the RLDS church.
