Quinn Warnick

Hi, I’m Quinn Warnick. I’m the Director of Academic Innovation and User Experience for TLOS (“Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies”), Virginia Tech’s learning technologies group. I partner with faculty across campus to develop sandbox and pilot projects supported by TLOS, and I also work to improve the experience for faculty, students, and other stakeholders who interact with TLOS. For the past decade, much of my research and teaching has focused on online communities and digital pedagogy, and I love being in a role where I can extend that work to the larger Virginia Tech community. I am husband to the incredibly talented Melody and father to two daughters. In my always-shrinking spare time, I like to watch British TV shows and hunt for the best hamburger in Southwest Virginia. This site houses my academic c.v., my teaching portfolio, and my (greatly neglected) blog, but if those don’t satisfy your appetite for all things Quinn Warnick, you can read my bookmarks on Pinboard, listen to my mixtape, or follow the mundane minutiae of my life on Twitter.
