Moana Uluave-Hafoka

MOANA ULUAVE-HAFOKA {[email protected]} Moana Uluave-Hafoka was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Moana is a Gates Mil￾lennium Scholar and graduated with University Honors from Brigham Young University in English and a minor in Sociology. In May 2014, she graduated with a Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She previously served as a Community Program Assistant at the Sorenson Unity Center, a Teaching Assistant with the Boston University Prison Education program, and as a paraprofessional at Edison Elementary School. Today, you can find Moana still living in Glendale with her husband, Maika and their baby, Linita. She loves writing brief but fierce essays and spending time with immediate and extended family.
