ROBERT R. KING holds his Ph.D. in political science and KAY ATKINSON KING hers in linguistics. In addition to a shared interest in Mormon history and culture, they are rearing three sons in McLean, Virginia. Robert is administrative assistant to a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. 1
