Georgina Alvillar Wibert

GEORGINA ALVILLAR WIBERT, one of eleven children, was born in a Colorado mining town, to a Mexican-American family active in early union- ism. She spent her early years in Alabama and in Texas, where, she says, her brothers kept her from accepting a job as a cabaret dancer. She now lives in Arlington, Va., with her scientist husband and two children. Most of her stories and poetry revolve around her early life.
