Cory Crawford {[email protected]} is assistant professor of biblical studies in the Department of Classics and World Religions at Ohio University. He earned a PhD and AM in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University and a BA in Linguistics at BYU. He is currently finishing a Volkswagen Fellow￾ship in the Humanities at the Biblisch-Archäologisches Institut at Eberhard-Karls Universität, Tübingen, Germany.
