Allan Davis

Allan Davis {[email protected]} is a PhD candidate in Theater and Performance studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he teaches courses in American theater history. His dissertation examines the role women played in the racial formation of whiteness in the early twentieth century, particularly in efforts to organize amateur theater. Allan serves as the conference planner for the religion and theater focus group in the Association for Theater in Higher Education.
