Prayers for the Altars

Redeem these altars 
Whereon divine parity 
Was sacrificed. 

Sanctify each one. 
Forgive them their trespasses. 
Remove any taint 

Of residual 
Ungodly diminishment  
From their crocheted cloths. 

Grant them new spirits. 
Help them heal the broken hearts 
Of those who once wept.
