The Dialogue Foundation is a fifty year-old non-profit that supports thought and writing about Mormon experience, especially through the print journal Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought. (The foundation is an independent organization not affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.). Dialogue seeks to transition its 50-year archive and its current content to a fully free and accessible web platform and content management system that will optimize operations, reach and impact, both to current print subscribers—including many patrons over 65—as well as new readers. We are seeking bids from web developers who can assess our current content management system and recommend and implement alternatives, implement the Dialogue brand and web-design concept, incorporate tools that will help Dialogue connect more effectively with users, and train Dialogue staff to operate the site. We hope to undertake this project beginning late January 2018 with a desired launch date of May 2018. Required capabilities include strong expertise in developing custom front-end and back-end WordPress sites, experience creating CMS for online editorial, and experience with responsive design, web typography, and web design. Women and designers from underrepresented groups encouraged to apply. Please submit a proposal by January 10, 2018 to email@example.com including a resume, sample of work, two references, and bid.
