Dialogue Gospel Study #55 w/Amy Harris

November 29, 2021

Amy Harris is an associate professor of history at BYU and an accredited genealogist. A native of Ogden, Utah, she was lucky enough to be raised by spectacularly good parents and particularly stellar siblings. Her research focuses on families, women, and gender in eighteenth-century Britain, though she has also written on family and genealogy in the LDS context. Since buying a home, gardening has become her principal hobby. All other hobbies and abilities (piano, Spanish, ukulele) have completely rusted as a result. But, on the positive side, all the gardening/vineyard metaphors in scripture are much more meaningful – especially the ones where the gardener is completely flummoxed by what the garden is doing.
